Jon K. Rodgers, Managing Principal

The founding principal of Acclivity Partners has been responsible for developing over 5 million square feet of commercial hotels, offices, retail, and residential buildings. His extensive development experience during the past twenty-five years includes strategic planning, financing, and constructing complex mixed-use projects with special emphasis on managing the development process, directing consultants, and administrating the financial budgets from project inception to completion.

Two examples of Jon’s experience include the Ritz-Carlton Residences, a 42-story luxury condominium tower managed by the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, located on North Michigan Avenue in Chicago, Illinois, and the 60-story residential Millennium Centre Tower, in Chicago’s River North area. For both projects, Jon was the managing general partner responsible for the project’s overall development, financing, and construction.

Jon is a licensed architect and graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Urban Planning, a Master of Urban Planning and Finance.

Daniel C. Curth, Esq., Principal - Project Implementation and Compliance

Dan is a principal with Acclivity and is responsible for project implementation and compliance - as a licensed attorney that focuses his practice on real estate, land use development, construction, and commercial litigation.

Dan’s legal experience has provided him with a wealth of knowledge in project development through representation of owners, developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors on issues including complex real estate financing transactions, contract negotiations, planning, zoning, and the review and resolution of building design documents, draw disputes, and construction defects.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University and received his law degree from the University of Michigan.

Robert J. Corrigan, Principal - Construction

As Principal, Bob is responsible for the project construction process.  He is the key ownership liaison - accountable for client satisfaction in all aspects of the building. His experience covers every facet of complex commercial construction, from office and residential, to resort, retail, and hotel development, including extensive senior housing and health care facilities.

Senior living examples include the Nathalie Salmon Intergenerational Housing facility in Chicago; StoryPoint 195-unit facility in Naperville; the StoryPoint 196-unit facility in Libertyville; and the Brookdale Senior Living 344-unit Lake Shore Drive tower.

In addition to his multiple large-scale projects, Bob spearheaded the construction of the Wynn Encore, a five-star luxury resort, casino, and hotel located on the Las Vegas Strip. The 48-story Encore tower has 2,034 rooms, and is identical to the Wynn Las Vegas, both using exterior bronze glass that encloses the curved floorplates. Construction of Encore required 32 months to complete within a $2.3 billion budget.

Bob holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction, from Bradley University. 

Lori Smuckler, Associate Principal - Marketing, Leasing, Brokage, and Energy Studies

Lori started her real estate career with the development of the Ritz-Carlton Residences Chicago, a forty-two story $240 million USD luxury condominium tower located in the heart of North Michigan Avenue.  She was an integral part of the team that planned and managed unit sales and promotional events with the goal of increasing profitability and generating awareness of the project in the luxury market segment.  As a liaison between residents, buyers, architects, interior designers, attorneys, banking institutions, and the Ritz-Carlton Corporation, she helped the team successfully close on $180 million USD in condominium transactions.

Lori is a licensed real estate broker, received her Registered Dietitian credentials through the Master Program from Loyola University and holds a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University.
